Rip City Dahlia, Semi-Cactus Dahlia's

Een lange tijd favoriet, Dahlia 'Rip City' is een prachtige en opvallende, zwart-crimson dahlia met prachtige golvende bloemblaadjes en een bijna zwart hart. De volledig dubbele bloemen, 4-6 inch breed (10-15 cm), voegen echt drama toe aan de rand en in de vaas. Ze worden gedragen op lange, stevige stengels en zijn uitstekend geschikt voor snijden. Deze dahlia bloeit enorm van juli tot en met vorst en wordt tot 90 centimeter lang (90-120 cm) en is een knol als snijbloemen of in de tuin.

Beste bloei vindt plaats in de volle zon, maar lichte schaduw zal worden verwelkomd in warme zomerse gebieden.
Zorg voor constante vochtigheid tijdens het groeiseizoen en laat de grond niet uitdrogen. Plant op een beschutte locatie om je dahlia's tegen harde wind te beschermen.
Het beste in groepen van 5 voor het beste visuele effect. Deadhead gebruikte bloemen om de groei van extra bloemknoppen te bevorderen.
