If you don't want to rely on pulling limited damage characters, re-rolling for the damage dealer of your choice will give your account a strong boost early on. A good S-Rank damage dealer will be the best bang for your buck in the short term but are most subject to power creep and obsolescence.

Each reroll attempt takes approximately 30-40 minutes, making it a tedious and laborious task. Additionally, there is no guest account option in ZZZ (despite needing to pick the character name later), meaning players must create multiple HoYoverse accounts and endure long dialogue options.

Grace Howard is one of the best characters that you can obtain early on in the Zenless Zone Zero. This S-rank agent is a great option if you want to deal with high AOE attacks. Her attacks also help with Electric Anomaly buildup, which can stun and shock the enemies.

While a Zenless Zone Zero reroll is possible, it can be quite a convoluted process to carry out – but you may consider it worthwhile so you can take another run at the initial character pulls to get your Agent(s) of choice on your team roster.

While Lycaon is a very good Stun character in isolation, he can be paired with Ellen and Soukaku for what is currently the game's most powerful team composition, and one that should stay relatively strong even as the game receives further updates.

Ellen and Zhu Yuan are the Best DPS Units

Both of them can deal a lot of damage with their attribute infused Basic Attacks and will have no problem clearing the hardest content in-game.

Best Fire Team

Lucy is the ideal final agent for the fire team due to the substantial damage boosts she provides as a support agent. Ben is also a decent choice, where you will give up the damage boosts of a support for extra daze and shielding, plus enhancing Koleda's attacks.

Ellen is the first Limited Agent to release in ZZZ, and she currently stands at the top of the meta. Her damage and teams are simply stronger than other options. Lycaon is currently the top Stun Agent, so pairing these two together simply make the best team in the game currently.

The decision can be important, but feel free to choose whoever you like the best if you want. That's not our final answer though! Overall, if you are looking for a strong S-rank character, we suggest choosing either Lycaon or Grace. Lycaon can deal a massive amount of damage and has both Ice and Stun abilities.
