Bleacher Report catches you up on the latest news from the WWE Universe.

Lynch's WWE Contract to Reportedly Expire June 1

Following her loss to women's world champion Liv Morgan in a steel cage match on Monday night's episode of Raw, Becky Lynch is reportedly set to become a free agent in the coming days.

According to Fightful Select (h/t Steve Carrier of Ringside News), Lynch's WWE contract will expire on June 1, which is Saturday.

Fightful added that while contract negotiations are ongoing and WWE sources believe she could receive the largest-ever contract offer for a women's wrestler, nothing has been finalized.

Becky posted the following on X after coming up short in her rematch against Morgan on Raw:

Lynch, 37, has been with WWE since signing a developmental deal in 2013 and making her televised debut in NXT in 2014.

Since then, she has gone on to become one of the most accomplished women in WWE history, having held seven women's titles on the main roster, as well as the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. She also won a Royal Rumble and was part of the first women's main event in WrestleMania history, beating Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 35.

After losing a women's world title match against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40, it was widely expected that Lynch would take time off while discussing a new deal, but when Ripley had to vacate the title due to injury, Becky came back and won it in a battle royal.

The title reign was short-lived, though, as Morgan beat her for the championship last weekend at King and Queen of the Ring.

While it is possible Lynch could sign elsewhere once her contract expires, it seems most likely that she will re-sign with WWE at some point since her husband, Seth Rollins, reportedly signed a new deal with the company earlier this month.

That doesn't necessarily guarantee anything, as Lynch could opt to retire from wrestling rather than re-signing with WWE or signing with another promotion, but re-signing with WWE has to be considered the betting-favorite outcome for The Man.

Rhodes Reportedly Working with Talent Agency for Acting

WWE champion Cody Rhodes is reportedly broadening his horizons by attempting to break into the acting world.

According to PWInsider.com's Mike Johnson, Rhodes is being represented by Endeavor, formerly known as WME, which owns both WWE and UFC.

While Endeavor represents The Rock, John Cena and Logan Paul, Rhodes is reportedly believed to be the first full-time WWE Superstar to be represented by Endeavor in Hollywood circles since the WWE-UFC merger.

That working relationship may already be paying dividends for The American Nightmare, as Deadline's Matt Grobar reported last week that Rhodes landed a role in the upcoming Naked Gun reboot.

While Cody's acting résumé isn't extensive as of now, he is no stranger to the acting world either.

The WWE champion is perhaps best known for his seven-episode run on the superhero television series Arrow alongside lead actor Stephen Amell.

He has also appeared on some reality shows and game shows, but Naked Gun will represent his theatrical debut aside from some voice acting.

WWE put a ton of trust and belief behind Rhodes by having him be the one to end Roman Reigns' 1,300-plus-day run as world champion at WrestleMania 40, and it is clear that the company sees him becoming a potential crossover star.

If WWE's hunch is correct, then Rhodes could have a highly successful acting career ahead of him, much like The Rock and Cena have enjoyed after getting their start in WWE.

Dijak's WWE Contract Reportedly Expiring Soon

Dijak recently got called up to Raw from NXT as part of the WWE draft, but he reportedly isn't under a WWE contract for much longer.

According to Fightful Select (h/t Ishaan Rathi of Ringside News), Dijak's WWE deal is up in just over a month.

DIjak has yet to appear on Raw since his call-up, and it is fair to wonder if WWE is waiting until it can sign him to a new contract before making any significant plans for him on the red brand.

However, he was used on the episode of Main Event recorded prior to Monday's Raw, losing to Pete Dunne.

The 37-year-old veteran first made a name for himself in Ring of Honor before signing with WWE in 2017. He enjoyed some success in NXT under the name Dominik Dijakovic, leading to his first call-up in 2020.

It was ill-fated to say the least, as he was renamed T-Bar and placed in the stable known as Retribution. There initially seemed to be big plans for Retribution and a ton of support behind it, but it quickly fizzled, resulting in Dijak and the others involved with it becoming enhancement talent.

After being sent back to NXT in 2022, the Dijak character was born, and it revitalized his career, as he became one of the best parts of NXT.

Dijak's size and in-ring ability could make him a major asset for Raw, but likely not until the two sides can reach an agreement on a new contract.
